Sofia Gabrielle (b. 2000, San Francisco, CA) is an artist and creative technologist living and working in Los Angeles. Raised between Costa Rica, the Philippines, and Chile, she received her degree in Media Arts & Practice from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.

Fragments of her multicultural upbringing permeate her practice, informing a profound interest in metaphysics, symbolism, and the mythopoetic language of the soul. Drawing from her lived experiences and an eclectic constellation of influences spanning philosophy, nature, psychology, science, and fiction, she explores the intersections between the tangible and intangible, the familiar and the unknown.

Through an idiosyncratic visual language, her work investigates the relational systems through which significance and meaning emerge, constructing pieces in which disparate elements become part of a greater whole.
